About Agentville
What is agentville?
agentville is a new site that has been designed as a collaborative network for commercial property Agents. The “Network Effect” is defined as a “phenomenon whereby a service becomes more valuable as more people use it, thereby encouraging ever-increasing numbers of users”. By listing their current instructions on their own agentville page, commercial property Agents can benefit from this network effect, by more efficiently communicating with their peers, and matching prospective tenants to properties.
How does it work?
Each user has their own “page” on which they can log details of all their current available Properties and their current Requirements. Once they are listed they are then distributed as an email “bulletin” to all other users who have an interest in that geographic location. At the same time the posting is entered into a database, where is is checked against corresponding current postings – and the resulting matches are listed as “Alerts” on the users “My Alerts” page – an email Alert is also sent out to the users who's posting is matched.

How will you keep the information up to date?
We won't – the Users will! We have designed the Alert emails so that the recipients can change their details via a simple click-through link – there is no need to remember website locations, usernames and passwords.
